I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana I moved to California at age 13. I graduated from Arlington High School in Riverside CA. Where I played volleyball, basketball and track I also played basketball in college.
After high school, I attended Victor Valley Community College and received an Associate Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. I continued my education at California State University, San Bernardino. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and two Masters Degree in Special Education and Educational Administration. After college I started working as a substitute teacher for Rialto Unified School District. In 2003 I started working at Desert Hot Springs High School teaching Special Education Math and Science I was the Special Education Lead Teacher for 2 years. This is my sixth year as Assistant Principal at DHSHS and I am very happy to be here.
I’ve been married for 20 years and between my husband and I, we have 8 children. I believe in this community, and have lived here in DHS since 2003
